Fire marshal course for private company personnel

Fifteen personnel from Megalift Sdn Bhd and Dandy Jaya Sdn Bhd recently attended a fire marshal course at the Belait Fire Station.

On hand to facilitate the course were officials from the Public Relation Unit, Operation B at the Belait Fire Station.

Also present during the course of Acting Public Relation Officer at Operation B Mohd Taha bin Bakar.

Participants were briefed on the basics of firefighting, such as the use of fire extinguisher, theories, hydrant 1 drill and smokehouse simulation.They were also brought on a tour of the fire station.

The course was aimed at enabling the participants to respond immediately to emergency situations at their workplace.

Belait Fire Station's Operation B also calls on other companies in the Belait District to participate in the course.
