Laksamana College of Business (LCB), a well-established and prestigious college in the capital, for nearly six years has provided quality academic courses ranging from professional to academic qualifications.

LCB will be holding an educational roadshow at The Mall from Jan 30-31 and Feb 6-8.

The college will open registration for the February 2009 intake and welcomes all students who have just completed their 'O' and 'A' Levels.

A subsidiary of Kensington College of Business (KCB) in London, LCB provides a range of courses from foundation right up to the degree level. One of the common courses pursued by students is the Cambridge International Diploma in Business.

This qualification can be used as a bridge to degree programmes and it is accredited by the Accreditation Council of Brunei Darussalam. It provides a framework for developing the skills and knowledge needed for employment in the increasingly dynamic business environment.

The diploma has been developed specifically for the international market, recognising the growing importance of employees working across geographic and cultural borders with objectives to meet the needs of employers, employees and students, by accessing knowledge and competence in a range of business areas.

The standards embodied in the Cambridge International Diploma in Business are valued in countries around the world and the syllabus and assessments provide a framework through which candidates, wherever they might be, can be assessed reliably against the performance standards.

The advantages of this course allows students to pursue a degree in top-ranked universities such as Northumbria University and University of Wales in the UK and to save cost and time by studying locally.

The course commences in February 2009 with entry requirements of two 'O' Levels with two credits in English medium subjects or one credit in Malay and one credit in any English medium subjects.

For further enquiries, contact the college at 2238816 or 2238818.
