Brunei Darussalam sepak takraw team won a bronze medal in the inter-regu event of the 3rd Asian Beach Games held in Haiyang, China. Brunei lost its only group stage match against Indonesia in a five sets thriller following the withdrawal of Myanmar. In the semifinal, Brunei were defeated by Thailand in three sets.
