PDN PJ Sengkarai Primary School, Tutong I, recently celebrated the family of Awg Mohd Epindi bin Abdullah Anto who converted to Islam.
Three of Awg Mohd Epindi's children, Mohd Eddy Jelaidi bin Mohd Epindi (Year 5) ,Erni Suzanti binti Muhd Epindi (Year 3) and Erni Suzani Muhd Epindi (pre-school), are currently studying at the school. The event was held at the school's multipurpose hall.
The event began with the recitation of surah al-Fatihah and the Dikir Marhaban.
The guest of honour led the sprinkling of scented flowers or 'Bunga Rampai' on the celebrated students and family members.
