Six village heads of Mukim Berakas B made a working visit to Jerudong Prison on Tuesday to interact with inmates of Mukim Berakas B.
The programme was a joint effort of the Prisons Department through the Rehabilitation Division and Village Institution Division of the Brunei-Muara District Office. It was aimed at giving advice and inject new spirits to the inmates in coping with better and harmonious livelihood once they are released.
It was also to give support and to motivate them to face a better life without losing hope. The programme will be extended to other village heads.
