Brunei Darussalam succumbed to their third straight defeat in the AFF Futsal Championship after losing to Indonesia 9-2 at Bangkok Thonburi Stadium last night.
The Sultanate crushed by mighty host country Thailand 22-0 two days ago got the goals through Faizul Jery Zaini and Noor Raimi Syahremy Karim.
Brunei were six goals down in the first half through Andri Kustiawan's hat-trick, a double from Syahidansyah Lubis and a goal from Randhyas Syamsul.
After the break, Ismail slotted two more goals for Indonesia before Randhyas sealed the 9-2 win with a late strike.
With three defeats, Brunei bowed out from the competition and will play their final match against Timor Leste on Monday.
In other matches, Thailand once again showed their prowess by humiliating Laos 26-2 followed by Malaysia edging the Philippines 4-1 and Vietnam beat Myanmar 3-0.
